Two females were injured when their sports utility vehicle collided with the wall of a gas station/mini-mart building located at 5550 Auburn Way South at approximately 3:50 p.m. today.

Valley Regional Fire Authority Firefighters and crews from Mountain View Fire and Rescue treated the two females in the SUV for minor injuries and they were transported to local area hospitals for further evaluation.

Water was shut off to the building to limit damage from severed water pipes and fire crews assisted in cleaning up and securing the approximately 4-by-5-foot hole in the wall of the building.

Auburn Police Department is investigating the incident.
