Auburn police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Dec. 10 and Dec. 14:
Dec. 10
Burglary: Overnight, 1500 block of 43rd Street Northeast. The supervisor of a construction site called to report that someone had burglarized the site of undisclosed items worth undisclosed amounts between Dec. 6 and Dec. 8.
Dec. 13
Bike theft: 3 p.m., 1825 K St. SE. Somebody swiped an Olympic Middle School student’s bicycle from school property. Police did not disclose a value.
Theft: 9 a.m., 3100 A St. SE. Asplundh Tree Experts told police that someone cut the fence to their rental lot, vandalized a truck, stole about 40 gallons of fuel and swiped a small radiator. Police did not disclose the amount of damages.
Theft: 5 p.m., 1702 Auburn Way N. An employee of Top Food and Drug reported that somebody had cut copper cables from a trash compactor on the store’s property. Police did not disclose the amount of damages.
Theft from motor vehicle: 3 p.m., 100 block of Riverview Drive Northeast. Somebody stole undisclosed items worth an undisclosed amount from an unsecured work van.
Dec. 14/strong>
Caught with pot: 12:45 p.m., 28900 124th Ave. SE. School authorities at Rainier Middle School discovered that a boy returning to campus during lunch had marijuana on him.
Burglary: Overnight, 1201 37th St. SW. A person or persons unknown illegally entered the property of a local business, broke into a cargo trailer and then swiped undisclosed construction tools worth undisclosed amounts of money.
Bike theft: Overnight, 104 E. Main St. Somebody stole a bicycle from Cycle Therapy when the shop was left unattended for a short period of time.
Vandalism: Overnight, 900 W Place NW. Thieves tried to steal wire from two in-ground City lighting boxes by cutting said wire. Police did not disclose the amount of damages.
Theft: 7:03 p.m., 11 3rd St. NW. A woman reported that someone had smashed her car window and stolen her purse while she was in the Auburn Post Office. Assault on officer: 12:40 a.m., 1200 block of Harvey Road Northeast. Police arrested somebody — male, female, old, young, they didn’t say — for assaulting a police officer.
