The Iron Horse Casino, 333 15th St. NE, Auburn, officially will unveil their newly renovated gaming and entertainment complex to the public on Thursday.
The grand re-opening weekend will begin with an employee appreciation poker tournament at 4 p.m. in the casino, after an official ribbon cutting ceremony attended by Auburn Mayor Pete Lewis.
Three tournaments will be held during the next four days.
The first tournament on Thursday will award $1,500 to the winners. There is a $25 buy-in for the public. Signups begin at 6 p.m.
The Iron Horse Casino also will be drawing names for cash prizes from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday.
A total of $2,500 in cash prizes will be awarded during a complimentary poker tournament for customers on Saturday, Sept. 27. Signups will be at noon, with drawings for cash and a Harley-Davidson grand prize entry at 2 p.m. and 10 p.m., respectively.
A complimentary blackjack tournament will be held Sunday, Sept. 28. Sign-ups will be a noon, with cash prizes of $2,500. The first 120 players to sign up at the casino for either tournament will play complimentary.
An appetizer buffet will be provided to the participants both days.
