The Auburn Riverside girls soccer team opened play in the South Puget Sound League 3A with a 4-1 win atLakes on Tuesday.
The Raven’s (1-0-0 league, 2-0-0 overall) got things started in the sixth minute with Taylor Smith finidng Particia Phithamma for the opening goal.
The Lancers (0-1-0, 1-2-0) responded in the 27th minute with its only goal of the game.
Phithamma found the back of the net for he second time in the contest in the 38th minute on an assist from Jewli-Ann Young-Holm.
Smith scored a goal at the 46th minute mark and Robin Hood, assisted by Calli Milang wrapped up socring in the 68th minute.
The Ravens travel to Bonney Lake at 7 p.m. Thursday to take on the Panthers (1-0-0, 1-1-0).
