Open House Station 33 Dedication: 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Dec. 12, VRFA Station 33, 500 -182nd Ave., Auburn. Dedication ceremony at 11 a.m. Hosted by the Valley Regional Fire Authority. Refreshments, door prizes, equipment and safety displays and entertainment by the Auburn Riverside High School Band will be provided. Children can try on firefighter gear, make their own fire trucks, tour through a fire engine and aid car, and meet Sparky the Fire Dog and “Pluggie” the fire hydrant robot. Other activities include demonstrations of a thermal imaging camera, tours of the facility and home and holiday safety information. Journey to Bethlehem: 6-9 p.m., Dec. 3-6, Dec. 12-13, Auburn Adventist Academy Church, 5010 Auburn Way S. Free, open to the public. Interactive drama is an outdoor production that features more than 275 costumed actors, vibrant sets, colorful storytelling and live animals. Tours, lasting approximately 40 minutes, depart from the church. Free tour tickets are available at the door; however, to avoid a long wait, tickets can be reserved at www.j2binfo.org. At 6 p.m. there will be a children’s play, “The Night Before Christmas,” which takes the viewer from modern time back to the days of Christ’s birth.

Jingle Bell Jog: 9-11 a.m., Dec. 12, Auburn Memorial Stadium, 800 4th. St. NE. Hosted by Auburn High School DECA, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Live holiday music, reindeer games and mini competitions, concessions Santa Claus will be on hand. Jingle bells will be provided for participants to wear on their shoes during the jog. Honorary jingle bells, which will be sold for $2 to pay tribute to friends and family who lost their lives to cancer, will be displayed on the Jingle Bell Tree.
