Auburn Garden Club gives back

The Auburn Garden Club presented donation checks Feb. 10 to representatives from Soos Creek Botanical Gardens, the White River Valley Museum, and the Auburn Parks and Recreation Department’s Pea Patch Division.

Each organization received a check for $400 at a ceremony at the William C. Warren Building in Veterans Memorial Park.

The City’s Community Garden program will use the money to purchase new wheelbarrows for the pea patches and support educational programming and projects for Mary Olsen Farm and Soos Creek Botanical Gardens.
