Ten members of the Auburn Mountainview baseball squad were honored with spots on the all-South Puget Sound League 3A team this past week.

In addition, the Lions’ Glen Walker was named Coach of the Year and senior Nick Brooks was named the league’s Most Valuable Player.

Brooks also was named as a utility player to the first-team squad along with senior catcher Brice McCulloch; junior second baseman Matt Anderson and sophomore outfielder Jeffrey Morgan.

Junior pitcher/third baseman Joey Cassano, senior first baseman Shawn Guinn and sophomore outfielder Mason Cerrillo were named to the second team.

Tyler Friis, Josh Minton and Kekoa Nahuku earned honorable mentions.
