Nov. 23

Aid call: 8:05 a.m., (South Auburn). Firefighters and King County Medics treated an older gentleman who was suffering from a decreased level of consciousness at an elderly care facility. A private ambulance transported the man in stable condition to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC).

Nov. 24

Aid call: 3:44 p.m., (Lea Hill). A middle-aged woman complaining of chest pain drove herself to the Lea Hill Fire Station, where King County Medics evaluated her, and a private ambulance motored her to a local hospital.

Nov. 25

Aid call: 7:30 p.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters advised a man who was complaining of a possible reaction to his medication that feeling tired was a normal reaction to the medication and left him at home with his family.

Nov. 26

Motor Vehicle Collision: 1:53 p.m., (Auburn). Having responded to a three-car accident on Southbound Highway 167 at the 37th Street underpass, firefighters evaluated a man and a baby boy for minor injuries and released them to seek medical attention at their leisure.

Motor Vehicle Collision: 3:45 p.m., (Pacific). Firefighters responded to a two-car accident with entrapment at the corner of Milwaukee Avenue and Ellingson Road, where they treated a man and a young woman for minor injuries. A private ambulance transported them to local area hospitals.

Nov. 28

Aid call: 8:24 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters responded to a teenage girl who was struggling to breathe from of a possible allergic reaction. The girl self-administered an epinephrine pen and took a low dose of Benadryl and thus found relief. Firefighters evaluated the girl’s vital signs and encouraged her to go to a local hospital. Family met the girl at the hospital after a private ambulance had transported her there.

Aid call: 10:31 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters responded with Auburn Police to a man victimized by assault. Firefighters evaluated the man, but he refused treatment or transport, so firefighters left him with police.
