Sometimes we make life far to complicated. Being a citizen of the planet is ultimately an issue of relationship and connection. You and I have a choice to live alone or live in community. With this in
mind, I’d like to invite all my readers to attend a very simple but important event.
For the past five years, Dan Evans, has been organizing an annual community event that celebrates to power of loving relationships. His one desire has been to honor God by hosting an event where Christians and non-Christians can gather to have fun and celebrate their genuine care for one another. Consequently, Dan travels from church to church inviting local leaders and congregations to be involved in this one day event. His goal is to provide a place where people can celebrate what unites us!
With this in mind, I’d love to invite you to the fifth annual Auburn Valley Family Fun Picnic. It will be held Saturday, June 20, from noon to 5 p.m., at Auburn Game Farm Park. There will be music, food, blow-up toys, games, and a dunk tank. Everything is free. It’s all being sponsored by local churches and ministries. So if you want to try and get connected beyond the walls of your home or your home church, then please stop by this simple but needed event. I’ll see you there.
