Sept. 10

Theft: 12:09 p.m., 2341 Auburn Way S. Responding to a Craigslist item advertising carpet installation equipment, a man met another man at the Cash America, where he discovered that he’d have to pay the fee to get the equipment out. The suspect then stole a pressure washer that the victim had purchased and fled in a vehicle. The case is under investigation.

Theft: Overnight, 3600 block of I Street Northeast. A homeowner reported the theft of a 3-foot-high Bonsai tree.

Shoplifting: 6:59 p.m., 1320 Outlet Collection Way SW. Police busted a male human being at a business in The Outlet Collection mall for shoe stealing.

Sept. 11

Trespassing: 9:52 a.m., 2102 Auburn Way N. For making themselves pains in the Royal A, three adults got the boot from the motel.

Theft: Overnight, 1700 Auburn Way S. Metal thieves stole 900 feet of wire from City street lamps, value not disclosed.

Shoplifting: 5:03 p.m., 4010 A St. SE. Police busted two teenage boys for shoplifting and having outstanding warrants referencing earlier misdeeds.

Vandalism: Overnight, 620 37th St. SE. A custodian reported vandalism to a heat pump on a portable classroom.

Theft: 10:30 a.m., 207 D St. SE. Somebody stole a small power detail sander from a storage cabinet just outside a woman’s apartment.

Theft of vehicle parts: 3:30 a.m., 49 37th St. NW. After cutting the cables and connecting wires to four truck batteries, thieves stole them from RMG Recycling’s parking lot.

Sept. 12

Strong arm robbery: 3:44 a.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. A robbery went down in the parking lot of the Muckleshoot Casino.

Sept. 14

Vandalism: Overnight, 400 block of 51st Street Southeast. A person or persons unknown damaged multiple electrical boxes.

Weapons offense: 4:35 p.m., 3030 R St. SE. Several people called 911 to report a male with a gun in his hand at or near Game Farm Park. Police found the male with a BB gun.

Burglary and unlawful entry: 9:18 p.m., 10 E. Main Street. A man entered a construction site but fled before police could nail him down.
