Auburn Senior Activity Center – in partnership with Rite Aid Pharmacy – hosts a whooping cough immunization clinic from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. May 31.

The whooping cough has been declared an “epidemic” by the state of Washington.

If not covered by your insurance, the cost is $64.50 per vaccine. However, it is a benefit covered by a majority of insurance plans.

Please stop by the senior center, at 808 9th St. SE, before May 24 to get the necessary forms for the shot. If you have to pay for the shot, the Rite-Aid Pharmacy will contact you with the price.
