APRIL 15

Assault: 12:48 a.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. A female employee of the nightclub at the Muckleshoot Casino reported that somebody had assaulted her, but video cameras did not back up her story.

Burglary: Overnight, 40 42 St. N.E. Somebody cut a lock on the storage yard at Sunshine Metals, swiped three propane tanks and removed an unknown amount of aluminum shavings. No value was given.

Vandalism: Overnight, 1500 block of 29th Street Southeast. A person or persons unknown saw fit to vandalize a station wagon parked all night in a person’s driveway by slashing all four tires, pounding the windshield and sunroof with a hammer, then leaving the owner to deal with the $250 in damage left behind.

Burglary: Overnight, 12000 block of Southeast 295th Street. A woman reported that while her family slept, someone slipped into her home and stole a 42-inch plasma HD television and several pairs of shoes.

Harassment: 11 a.m., 501 Oravetz Road. A student at Auburn Riverside High School told police her boyfriend had sent her threatening text messages.

Theft: Overnight, 1101 Supermall Way. Somebody stole an undisclosed amount of money from a slot in a floor safe of a cell phone kiosk at the Supermall.

Theft: 6:35 p.m., 101 Auburn Way S. Police arrested a juvenile male after he stole four candy bars of unspecified manufacture from Safeway.

APRIL 14

Assault: 12:50 p.m., 12000 block of Southeast 310th Street. Police arrested a juvenile male for 4th-degree assault domestic violence after he shoved his father over a chair and into a sliding glass window. The pair had gotten into a verbal argument when the son decided to take things to a physical level and shove his dad. The kid was booked into the Auburn Jail, then transferred to the King County Juvenile Detention Center.

Shoplifting: 5:46 p.m., 101 Auburn Way S. Police arrested a juvenile male for shoplifting after he stole two pages from a magazine. Two of his friends were told to get out and not come back after they got a bit too lippy with store authorities.

APRIL 13

Unlawful burning: Noon,

30908 124th Ave. S.E.

Persons unknown set a fire inside the covered play shed at Lea Hill Elementary sometime between April 11 and April 13, but the fire was out when its remnants were found. There was no damage.
