Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Nov. 24 and 29:

Nov. 24

Trespassing: 7:35 a.m., 711 E. Main St. Auburn High School gave a wrong-doing kid the boot and an order to stay way from the school for six years.

Theft: 8 a.m., 2000 block of 62nd Loop Southeast. A man left his vehicle unlocked and thieves took advantage of the situation by filching an Apple Tablet from his trunk.

Recovered stolen vehicle: 2:54 p.m., 500 block of 37th Street Southeast. Not only did the male and female flee the scene of an accident, they were in a stolen car, so police busted them.

Cane theft: 3:10 p.m., 420 22nd St. SE. Somebody stole a 90-year-old woman’s cane from her home, and she enunciated strong suspicions about who’d pinched it.

Vandalism: 10:32 p.m., 100 block of 2nd Street Northwest. Somebody slashed a rental truck’s tires.

Theft: 5:30 a.m., 1300 block of 3rd Street Southeast. Thieves deprived a man of the tools he needs to make a living, among them welding tools, two large tool bags, many pockets of crowbars, die grinders, several types of hammers, measuring tapes and metal markers.

Nov. 25

Vandalism: Overnight, 401 W. Main St. Unknown persons spray painted graffiti onto the brick walls of West Auburn High School.

Theft: 8:10 a.m., 5600 S. 328th St. Somebody stole a small John Deere tractor from a construction site.

Nov. 26

Theft: 12:40 a.m., 1402 Lake Tapps Parkway SE. A boy 16-18 years of age stole a coin dispenser from a Subway’s store counter.

Vehicle parts: 10 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. Somebody removed the rear spoiler from the trunk lid of a vehicle parked at the Outlet Collection Mall, damaging the trunk lid in the process.

Trespassing: 7:40 p.m., 1102 Outlet Collection Way SW. Outlet Collection Mall authorities asked a woman to scram, beat it, get lost, and when she made her clear by inaction and words that she had no intention whatsoever to do it, police busted her and booked her into jail for trespassing.

Nov. 28

Vehicle parts: 3:30 a.m., 104 10th St. NE. In the wee hours of the morning somebody broke into a car at the Shag Apartments and stole a GPS unit and its window mount, a car phone charger and a flash light. According to the owner of these items, such thefts are all too frequent at the apartments, and he suggested more of a police presence would be helpful.

Arson by poo: 9:26 p.m., 12725 SE 312th St. Although somebody or several somebodies set a paper bag of dog droppings ablaze and placed it near an apartment door, the wily resident did not stamp it out with his foot.

Nov. 29

Threatening: 10:20 a.m., 400 15th St. NW. A man whipped out a firearm in the heated course of a late-morning, road-rage incident.
