The Green River Community College men’s basketball team ended its season with a 14-12 overall record after two losses and a win at the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges Championship Tournament March 6-9 in Kennewick.

The Gators upset No. 1 seed Shoreline 80-76 in the opening round. Green River was unable to overcome eventual tournament champion Clackamas in the second round, however, falling 87-77 to the Cougars. The Gators closed out their season with a 70-56 loss to Mount Hood.
