Join disaster preparedness experts from the City of Auburn and discover how you can prepare for a disaster on a limited budget. Learn what you need to do to prepare: how to make a plan, how to build a kit, and how to get involved in your own preparedness, all at little or no cost.

The class will be presented twice at Auburn City Hall, 25 W Main St. – Saturday, April 9, 10 a.m.-noon; Tuesday, April 12, 7-9 p.m.

All attendees will receive an item to help jump-start their disaster kits and one complete kit will be given away at each present. The class is free and interpreters will be available in Spanish and Russian. The presentation will also include information on local hazards.
