Auburn gets nonleague win over Fife 9-3, Riverside falls 14-3 to Kentridge and Mountainview loses 5-1 to Bonney Lake | Fastpitch

The Trojan girls unloaded on the Fife Trojans on Wednesday, notching 17 hits in a 9-3 nonleague victory.

Katie Porter was credited with the win on the mound for Auburn, pitching seven innings and giving up nine hits, three earned runs and striking out four batters.

Offensively, Amber Morrow had two hits, including a home run, with one RBI and two stolen bases. Shannen Morgan added four hits, an RBI and a stolen base and Makenzie Blakely had four hits and an RBI.

The win improves Auburn’s record to 2-1. The Trojans travel to Federal Way at 4 p.m. today for a league game against the Eagles.

ELSEWHERE: The Raven girls fell 14-3 to Kentridge this past Wednesday. Alyssa Jarmin had two hits with two RBIs in the contest. The Ravens are currently 0-4 on the season and will look for their first win at 4 p.m. Monday at Jefferson… Auburn Mountainview was unable to overcome the Bonney Lake Panthers this Wednesday, losing 5-1 in SPSL 3A league contest. Jayme Lin had two hits, including a double, and Amanda Colella added two hits in three at-bats. The Lions will play at Sumner today at 4 p.m.
