The Auburn Riverside girls soccer team rolled over Kent-Meridian this past Tuesday 7-0 at French Field.
Chelsea Pries scored two goals for the Ravens, with senior Gina Cardenas coming out of her normal goalkeeper spot to score two goals. Nellie Packer, Tayler Holtman and Kaylee Huie all scored one goal apiece.
Taylor Abrass had two assists and Megan Amis and Danielle Robinson had one assist each.
Cardenas and backup goalkeeper Kayla Clarke were credited with the shutout.
The win improves the Ravens to 4-2-3 in the South Puget Sound League 4A North Division. Kent-Meridian falls to 0-9-0.
ALSO: The Trojans (1-8-0) fell to Kentridge (5-3-1) 3-0 this past Tuesday. Krystal Daniels, Jena Flewelling and Natalie Spadafora were credited with the shutout for the Chargers and Kayla Berg, Emily Hann and Haley Crusch all added goals. Marley Erickson and Shyann Glasser earned assists. … In SPSL 3A play Auburn Mountainview (0-1-1 league, 7-2-1 overall) fell 1-0 to Enumclaw (1-0-0, 4-2-1) this past Tuesday at Auburn Memorial Stadium. Enumclaw’s Caitlin Plese earned the shutout between the pipes and Dani Streuli scored the contests lone goal on a penalty kick.
