March 18

Explosives: 6:02 a.m., 100 block of Second Street Southeast. Police arrested a guy for having two confirmed Auburn warrants with his name affixed to them, and when they searched him they found an explosive device, a stolen bicycle and drug paraphernalia.

Commercial burglary: Overnight, 1201 M St. SE. Burglars struck an Auburn business overnight, stealing a company vehicle.

Luring: Overnight, 7:56 a.m., 100 block of F Street Southeast. A high school girl said a man in a black-colored Honda car drove up to her and asked if she wanted a ride to school. She ran to a 76 gas station for safety. An area check for the car turned up nothing.

Vandalism: 10:41 a.m., 1900 block of C Street Southeast. Somebody damaged a car tire in an undisclosed way. Police did not disclose the amount of damages.

Burglary: 3:30 p.m., 2400 block of Howard Road Southeast. Somebody burglarized a tool shed and stole an undisclosed number of tools. Police did not disclose a value for the missing tools.

Fraud: 10:27 p.m., 762 Supermall Drive SW. Somebody used a counterfeit $100 bill to buy items at Walmart.

March 19

Alcohol offense: 12:10 a.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. Police arrested a girl at the Muckleshoot Casino after she tried to sneak into the casino using her adult friend’s identification.

Disorderly conduct: 3:22 a.m., 202 N. Division St. Police arrested a man for some sort of interference with a health facility.

March 20

Shoplifting: 3:40 p.m., 762 Supermall Drive SW. A female stole items from Walmart and then tried to return them for cash. She also had two warrants for her arrest.

DUI: 5 p.m., 4100 block of A Street Southeast. A vehicle rear-ended another vehicle then its driver drove away from the scene of the collision. The driver of the vehicle that had been struck followed the suspect until police could arrive. Police later arrested the suspect for DUI and hit and run. He refused to provide a breath sample and police booked him into South SCORE jail.

Bike theft: 7:21 p.m., the 1400 block of Harvey Road Northeast. Somebody swiped a bicycle from Walgreens. Police did not disclose a value for the stolen bike.

Theft: 8 a.m., 2300 block of 27th Place Southeast. Multiple yard decorations of undisclosed make and value were stolen from a yard.
