Auburn Mountainview senior Delene Colburn was honored this past week with the South Puget Sound League 3A Most Valuable Player award.

Auburn Mountainview senior Delene Colburn was honored this past week with the South Puget Sound League 3A Most Valuable Player award.

Colburn, a four-year varsity player, helped lead the Lions to a 13-11 overall record, 9-6 in league, and an appearance in the West Central III/Southwest IV District Tournament.

Also honored were teammates Emily Martinez (infielder) and Zoe Collins (outfielder), both chosen to the second team.

Rylie Decker was selected as an honorable mention.

Enumclaw’s Quinn Breidenbach was chosen as league Pitcher of the Year and Mike Hawkins from Lakes was picked Coach of the Year.

Lakes won the Sportsmanship Award.
