Auburn’s Nix to perform in CWU production

Tara Nix, a 2011 graduate of Auburn Riverside High School, will play one of the Soul Girls and appear in the ensemble in Central Washington University's Central Theatre production of "Jesus Christ Superstar", which opens today.

Tara Nix, a 2011 graduate of Auburn Riverside High School, will play one of the Soul Girls and appear in the ensemble in Central Washington University’s Central Theatre production of “Jesus Christ Superstar”, which opens today.

Nix, a junior in the bachelor of fine arts in musical theatre, has appeared in many CWU productions, including “The Tempest”, “A Year with Frog and Toad”, and “A Christmas Carol”.

Her parents are Gabriel Omat and Ben Nix.

“Jesus Christ Superstar” will be performed May 10, 11, 16, 17, 18 at 7:30 p.m., and May 12 and 19 at 2:00 p.m. in McConnell Auditorium.

There will be reserved seating for all ticket groups. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors/students, and $7 for CWU students with ID.
