Between Sept. 8 and 14, the Valley Regional Fire Authority responded to 204 requests for services, among which were the following:

Sept. 8

Aid call: 1:18 p.m., (Pacific). After firefighters evaluated a young lady who had just suffered a seizure and determined that she needed follow-up evaluation, a private ambulance transported her to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC).

Sept. 9

Aid call: 8:39 a.m., (Algona). After firefighters had treated an older man who was struggling to breathe, a private ambulance transported him to an area hospital.

Sept. 10

Aid call: 7:50 p.m., (Auburn). After firefighters and King County Medics assessed a female with a decreased level of consciousness, they transported her to MAMC for further treatment and evaluation.

Sept. 11

Aid call: 2:05 p.m., (Lakeland Hills. Firefighters helped a boy who had fractured his arm playing on the school playground, and a private ambulance transported him to MAMC.

Sept. 12

Aid call: 12:45 p.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters treated an unconscious, unresponsive woman for an adverse reaction to prescription medication before a private ambulance transported her to MAMC.

Sept. 13

Residential fire: 7:45 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters responding to a possible garage fire arrived to find that somebody had already extinguished the fire with no damage to the structure.

Sept. 14

Aid call: 12:50 p.m., (Lakeland Hills). After firefighters and King County Medics had evaluated a woman with a chronic medical issue who was fighting to breathe, they determined that she needed more medical care and summoned a private ambulance to drive her to Valley Medical Center in Renton.
