Whenever I consider a candidate who’s running for re-election, I want to know what they’ve accomplished while already in office. In the case of Mayor Lewis asking to be re-elected as Mayor of Auburn, the choice is easy. There are many reasons to return Mayor Lewis to office, but here are three very good ones.

1. He’s been responsible for the improvement of neighborhood streets over the past four years. It’s called the SOS Program – Save Our Streets. Just take a look around and ask.

2. He’s a strong advocate for Veterans Affairs by promoting King County legislation for annual funding that benefits our courageous veterans.

3. He’s responsible for the revitalization of downtown Auburn with the brand new building east of Auburn City Hall on Main Street. This building will provide adjacent office space for city employees … ready by this Thanksgiving.

There’s more … just take a look around and ask. I did and that’s why I’m voting for Mayor Lewis again.
