Scarff Ford in Auburn on Tuesday presented a $2,500 check to local food truck Secret Sausage, winner of the Seattle portion of the Ford Food Truck Challenge.

More than a dozen Puget Sound area Ford businesses hosted innovative public events earlier this summer that had local food trucks compete in a head-to-head taste test while Ford vehicles challenged their rivals through competitive test drives.

Secret Sausage beat out other local food trucks through attendee votes to win the Best Bite portion of the competition and $2,500.

Scarff Ford hosted its food truck challenge June 27.
