City, GRCC co-host south Lea Hill community meeting on May 21

Residents of the south Lea Hill neighborhood are invited to attend a community meeting at Green River Community College on Tuesday, May 21. The meeting is set for 6:30-8 p.m. in the Glacier Room of the Lindbloom Center, 12401 SE 320th St, Auburn.

Residents of the south Lea Hill neighborhood are invited to attend a community meeting at Green River Community College on Tuesday, May 21.

The meeting is set for 6:30-8 p.m. in the Glacier Room of the Lindbloom Center, 12401 SE 320th St, Auburn.

It is open to the public.

The purpose of the meeting is to:

• Discuss neighborhood concerns

• Meet with representatives from Green River and the City to discuss community safety

• Find out about Block Watch and Map Your Neighborhood programs

• Meet your neighbors

Auburn Police Chief Bob Lee and City staff from the Planning and Public Works departments will answer questions, as well as Public Safety and International Programs staff from the college.

Green River President Eileen Ely and Mayor Pete Lewis are expected to attend.
