La Quinta Inn and Suites, Auburn’s newest hotel, is officially open.

Mayor Pete Lewis, Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce members and the hotel staff gathered Monday for a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The hotel, 225 6th St. SE, features 70 guest rooms and suites with top-of-the-line furnishings. The hotel includes a swimming pool, hot tub, weight room and complimentary breakfast.
