My wife and I moved to Auburn four weeks ago and we have been impressed and delighted with the city, the services and the people downtown we have met. They have been friendly, service oriented and very helpful, and we love the choices for shopping and walking around that are offered.

In my opinion, Auburn is not by any means “falling apart.” It is a snappy, vibrant place with a sense of pride, a long and interesting history, and what seems to me to be a caring and capable group of people in important leadership positions.

We should encourage and suppot them as they continue to improve and develop the city and area, and do the same for the merchants and stores in town by visiting them.
