May 21

Theft: 8 a.m., 1825 K St. SE. Somebody discovered prescription pills missing from a locked cabinet at Olympic Middle School.

May 24

Burglary: 6 a.m., 221 H St. NW. Bad guys entered an unnamed business over the weekend, cutting the fence on the west and south sides of the business, entering an employee’s vehicle and swiping undisclosed automobile parts of undisclosed value.

Theft vehicle parts: 12:28 p.m., 3109 Auburn Way N. Somebody or a number of somebodies stole a set of 19-inch rims and tires from an undisclosed business.

Theft: 2:32 p.m., 2000 block of M Street Northeast. Thieving persons stole blowers from the back of a work trailer.

Shoplifting: 5:40 p.m., 2236 Auburn Way N. Somebody stole a cell phone from the counter at the Super Pawn, located at 2236 Auburn Way N. The suspect had just pawned some jewelry, used his real drivers license for that transaction, then stole a cell phone from the counter. Somebody identified the guy and police cited him by mail.

Theft: 7:20 p.m., 1102 Auburn Way S. Somebody stole a stereo/DVD player with a 7-inch screen out of a vehicle parked at the Auburn Library.

Shoplifting: 9:20 p.m., 801 Auburn Way N. Police arrested a woman for shoplifting at Fred Meyer after she tried to conceal items in a shopping cart and leave through the east doors without paying. The woman also had a misdemeanor warrant for theft out of Kent PD. Police booked her into the Auburn Jail.

Vandalism: 3 p.m., S 277th Street and D Street Northeast. A woman called to report that her former roommate had thrown her phone out the window of a moving vehicle, breaking said phone.

May 25

Theft: 5:50 a.m., 400 block of O Street Northeast. Unknown thieves spent part of two nights stealing plants from a newly landscaped property.

Theft: 10 a.m., 500 block of O Street Northeast. Between May 23 and May 25 and not far from the above theft, a thief walked away with somebody’s holly tree.

Theft: 12:25 p.m., 1100 block of East Main Street. A man told police that while he was working for the Coco-Cola company, somebody stole his hand-held computer as he was checking stock levels at a local store.
