The Valley Regional Fire Authority responded to 211 calls for service between Jan. 25 and 31, among them the following:
Jan. 25
Aid call: 9:30 a.m., (South Auburn). Having responded to a middle-age woman who had fallen from a stool and possibly fractured her ankle, firefighters stabilized the injury and a private ambulance transported the woman to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC) for further treatment.
Jan. 26
Aid call: 7:28 p.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters evaluated a woman who was complaining of a respiratory problem, and a private ambulance transported her to MAMC.
Jan. 27
Aid call: 6:33 p.m., (Pacific). Firefighters treated a boy who had fallen and hit his head, and a private car motored him off to a local hospital.
Jan. 28
Aid call: 2:10 p.m., (Algona). Firefighters treated an older woman who was complaining of chest pain, and a private ambulance transported her to MAMC.
Jan. 29
Aid call: 7:15 p.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters helped an Auburn senior who had fallen getting into his vehicle, and a private ambulance transported him to MAMC.
Jan. 30
Aid call: (Super Mall). Firefighters and King County Medics responded to an older woman who was complaining of non-cardiac chest pain, but she refused medical transport, so the responders left her with family members.
Jan. 31
Aid call: 3:51 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters treated a boy who had collided with another child and sustained a small cut to his head, and his parents took him home.
