A man robbed the Columbia Bank in the 2000 block on Auburn Way North today, fleeing with some amount of cash, Auburn police said.

The man, described as African-American in his 30-40s, walked into the bank around 1:30 p.m., handed a demand note to the teller, grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash and left on foot, police said.

No weapons were seen on the suspect, police said.

The man remains at large as authorities investigate. Police have no specific leads at this time.

The FBI immediately is reviewing bank surveillance photos.
