The Red, White and Blue Holiday Concert – an Auburn tradition – brings a festive and rousing concert of patriotic music honoring troops, along with favorite holiday music and carols to the Auburn Performing Arts Center at 2 p.m. Dec. 4.
Tickets are free, but required for admission.
The Auburn Mountainview High School Choir joins the 133rd Army Band of the Washington National Guard with a selection of some of its best numbers, plus a holiday sing-a-long.
The 133rd Army Band is a diverse group of musicians and ensembles, which serve the community and represent the Washington National Guard to audiences across the state. Members of the band range in age from their late teens to mid-fifties and represent a wide cross section of their community. With music educators and professional musicians, students and other career professionals, the 133rd Army Band is diverse in its professional composition These soldier-musicians are special people who possess a rare mix of both military and artistic abilities.
The Auburn Mountainview Choir has a tradition of excellence. Performing throughout the United States, the choir’s musical repertoire includes classical, Broadway, spirituals, jazz, contemporary and renaissance music.
