The Auburn business community officially welcomed Mike Beardsley and Jennifer Biggs of Allstate Insurance Company, which recently found a new home at 224 E. Main St.

“There is a lot of foot traffic, a lot of exposure (with the location),” said Beardsley, the office’s exclusive agent, with 25 years of sales experience. “It’s downtown, Main Street … and Allstate and I agree that it’s the type of image we want.”

Members of the Auburn-Area Chamber of Commerce joined Mayor Pete Lewis in welcoming the business at a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday.

Beardsley’s staff includes licensed producers, Jennifer Biggs and Deborah Mills, with 12 and 10 years experience, respectively.

The agency provides insurance needs in many areas, including life, family, auto and disability.

Beardlsey makes his home in Tacoma. He is the softball director for District 10 Little League.
