The Auburn girls tennis team swept Curtis 5-0 in South Puget Sound League Central 4A play on Tuesday. In the No. 1 singles spot Trojan senior Aly Siemion defeated Jessie Swofford 6-4, 6-0.

In the No. 1 singles spot, Trojans senior Aly Siemion defeated Jessie Swofford 6-4, 6-0.

Senior Nacole Schwoch also earned a victory for Auburn in the No. 2 singles match, beating Jenny Kim 6-0, 6-1.

In doubles play, the No. 1 team of junior Lauren Thornquist and senior Sydney Johnson beat Curtis’ Jamie Tran and Haley Comfort 6-1, 6-2.

Also earning wins for the Trojans were seniors Gabie Lane and Madi Johnson at No. 2 doubles and junior Kasey Strickland and freshman Madison Miller at No. 3 doubles.

The win improves Auburn’s league record to 4-2.
