U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell, D-WA, reminds Washingtonians affected by the January severe winter storm, landslides, mudslides, and flooding that they have until Tuesday to apply for federal and state disaster assistance. It also is the deadline for homeowners, renters, and businesses to return completed disaster loan applications to the U.S. Small Business Administration.
“I saw firsthand the damage January’s storms inflicted on Washington’s communities,” said Sen. Cantwell. “I want to be sure that individuals have the information they need to get back on the track. We must work together on the local, state, and federal levels to ensure that businesses and residents have the access to resources to rebuild their communities in the wake of these storms.”
