CAROLINE CRAFT

Grade: Senior.
Sport: Tennis.
Accomplishments: Craft and Carly Holtgraves teamed up for a dominant run through last week’s SPSL 3A tennis tournament, capped by last Friday’s 6-0, 6-1 victory against Auburn’s Peyton Prothero and Mariah Siemion in the girls doubles title match. Craft and Holtgraves won 48 of the 52 games they played in the tourney.
Favorite class: Psychology.
If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve?: I would invite Jim from “The Office” and would serve toast.
Also noted: Craft has a 3.7 grade-point average and will be attending Gonzaga University.
CARLY HOLTGRAVES
AUBURN RIVERSIDE
Grade: Senior.
Sport: Tennis.
Accomplishments: Holtgraves gained a share of her second straight SPSL 3A girls doubles championship as she and Caroline Craft defeated Auburn’s Peyton Prothero and Mariah Siemion last week, 6-0, 6-1. Last year, Holtgraves and now-graduated partner Jessica Grover won the crown.
Favorite class: Spanish.
If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve?: I would invite Rafael Nadal and would serve half-baked frozen yogurt.
Also noted: Holtgraves is a member of the Chess Club, and plans to attend Central Washington University next school year.
MICHEAL PAULSTON
AUBURN
Grade: Sophomore.
Sport: Track.
Accomplishments: Paulston won the 1,600 meters title in last Saturday’s SPSL 3A sub-district meet. She posted a 5:10.06 that currently ranks as the fourth-fastest time in Washington. She also is the state’s fastest sophomore in that event.
If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve?: I’m not sure whom I would invite, but I definitely would serve ice cream and Oreos.
Also noted: Paulston plans to attend college, and says, “I spend most of my time playing soccer.”
