Kathleen Rose Clyde, 71, died peacefully in her home on Friday, November 14, 2014. Kathleen was born February 18, 1943 to Frank and Edith Carlmas.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Jerry Clyde. Her Son, Blaine Clyde (Susan). Two grandchildren, Anna and Evan Clyde. Her Sister, Patricia Sartell (Ken).Her Niece, Lindsay Dierck (Aaron). Nephews, Justin Sartell (Tisa), Brian St.Pierre (Bobbie Jo). And many, many loving friends and family.

Kathleen graduated from Auburn high school in 1961 and enjoyed the honor of being crowned Miss Auburn that same year. Kathleen went on to study home economics at Western Washington University. Kathleen spent 42 years working for the Pierce County Court System serving as a Legal Assistant in the Clerks office. She loved her job and making a difference in people’s lives through serving in the court system.

Time with family and friends, and traveling together were two of Kathleen’s favorite things. She loved to sit with a latte and read a good book. Sewing, knitting, and crochet were some of her favorite past times. She especially enjoyed making special things for others. Kathleen took great pride in her garden and was often called upon for her talent of putting together beautiful flower arrangements. Kathleen’s kind, encouraging friendship will be missed by many.

A celebration of Kathleen’s life will be on Tuesday, November 25th at 6:00 PM at Messiah Lutheran in Auburn.
