Naomi Dorothy (Boe) Berens

Naomi died on March 17, 2014 in Auburn. She was 73.

She was born May 6, 1940, in Watford City, ND to Verle and Gladys Boe. She moved to Washington in 1951 with her family and graduated from Federal Way High School. Naomi was a loving wife, dedicated mother, caring grandmother and thoughtful sister who enjoyed being a homemaker. She was passionate about gardening and loved to read. Life gave her many struggles over the last 27 year but she always managed to persevere.

Naomi is survived by her daughter Melissa Ellis of Puyallup; granddaughters Hailey and Hannah Ellis of Puyallup; sisters, Judy Collins of Algona, Mavis Gallagher-Outland of La Pine, OR and Donna Olson of Algona.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Robert J. Berens (2003); brothers Vernon Boe of Salem, OR., Leo Boe of Missoula, MT., and Edward Boe of Portland, OR.

A graveside service will be held on April 17th at 3 pm at Mountain View Cemetery in Auburn, WA.
