Ellen Lindblom Larson Read

Ellen Read died January 29, 2016 at Regency of Auburn. She was born on April 11, 1920 on a farm in Minnesota. She had seven siblings.

Ellen attended Lincoln High School in Thief River Falls, MN, graduating in 1938. After high school, she worked as a hairdresser.

She married Arnold Larson in 1939 and the couple had six children: Arlan (Butch), Avis, G. Edward, and Gregory (all deceased), and surviving Georgine of Auburn & Gary of E Grand Forks, MN. The family moved to Auburn, WA in 1962. Ellen worked at the Dietzen bakery on Auburn Way. Ellen & Arnold divorced in 1969. In 1973, she married Stan Read. They were married for 32 years before his death in 2005.

Ellen has 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on February 3rd at Messiah Lutheran Church in Auburn.
