Hilda Krein

Hilda Krein died May 22, 2011 at the Auburn Regional Medical Center. She was 94 years old. She was born March 23, 1917 in Lehr, ND and married Emil Krein January 3, 1939. Family was Hilda’s top priority and she spent her life caring for them while following Emil during Northern Pacific Railroad transfers from North Dakota, Minnesota, Montana and finally retiring in Auburn, WA in 1973. She extended her caring nature to others as she worked at Auburn Hospital where she retired in 1979. She devoted time to Auburn City Seventh-Day Adventist Church where she was a member of the Doras Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emil. She is survived by sons, Donald and wife Cheryl; Jim and wife Shirley; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters and one brother.
