Ruth E. Dietrich

Ruth E. Dietrich, age 86, of Rice Lake, WI formerly of Auburn, WA went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at the Lakeview Medical Center in Rice Lake.She was born on January 5, 1923 in Topeka, KS to Everett and Miriam (Storey) Stanley. Ruth was married to Dean Dietrich on June 22, 1938 in Nebraska. They lived in Nebraska and then moved to Riverton, WY where they farmed until 1953 and then owned & operated a Tasty Freeze until 1966. They then moved to Seattle, WA where she worked for Boeing Manufacturing Company until her retirement in 1985. She then moved to Rice Lake, WI in 2007.Ruth Dietrich is survived by 2 daughters, Brenda Israelson of Arlington, WA and Rhonda Dietrich of Rice Lake, WI; 7 grandchildren, Carrie, Tammi, Laurie, Brian, Dave, Dan and James; 5 great-grandchildren; a brother, Everett Stanley of Benicia, CA; an aunt, Dorothy Stanley; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Dietrich in 1993; 2 daughters, Diane Rook and Connie Dietrich; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary & Diana Dietrich; a son-in-law, George Israelson; parents, Everett and Miriam Stanley and a brother, Joseph Stanley.Funeral Services were held May 16, 2009 at the New Life Christian Center, Rev. Bob Pittman officiating, with interment in Nora Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI.Memorials would be appreciated.224606
