More than 700,000 cheering Seahawks fans jammed downtown Seattle streets on Wednesday to celebrate the franchise’s first Super Bowl victory.
The turnout was so large that it delayed the parade for about 40 minutes as team buses made their way to the starting point near the Space Needle.
Fans braved the cold to pack the two-mile route along Fourth Avenue, clad in blue and green jerseys, wigs, flags, scarves, banners and signs, and erupting into song and dance.
