Auburn Mountainview beats Peninsula 13-7 in final regular season game. Both Mountainview and Auburn will begin state tourney play Nov. 4 at Rogers | Boys Water Polo

Auburn and Auburn Mountainview boys water polo begin state tournament play on Thursday at Rogers High School in Puyallup.

The Auburn Mountainview boys completed their regular season with a 13-7 won over Peninsula on Thursday.

Brady Bardner and Hunter Arnold both had three goals apiece in the contest, with John Kim and Stephen Creed adding two goals each. Dallyn Hunt, Branden Correa and Colin Lempert each had one goal.

The Lions finish the season in fourth place in the East division with a 6-6 record.

Mountainview will play West Division champs Rogers (11-1) at 7:15 p.m. Thursday at the Rogers Pool in Puyallup.

ALSO: The Auburn boys water polo team captured the East Division championship with a 10-2 record this week. The Trojans will begin state tournament play at 4:45 p.m. Thursday against Puyallup (5-7) at the Rogers Pool.
