Robert Arnold Petersen passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017 at the age of 65. Rob was born on April 4, 1951 in Auburn, WA to Delpha and the late Robert W. Petersen.

Rob graduated from Auburn High School in 1969 and earned a business degree from WSU in 1973. He then took up polo, combining his love of horses with competitive sport and camaraderie. He played 40 years.

Rob was a financial advisor for 36 years. He was a highly respected leader and teacher in the industry. Rob was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Linda deWilde-Petersen; mother, Delpha Burke; sister, Christine Devereaux; twin brother, Ron Petersen; daughters, Morgan (Ben) Craighead and Stefanie Erickson; son, Jon (Jessica) Petersen; their mother, Francie Mondin and 6 grandchildren.

A celebration of Rob´s life will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 12pm. Mt. Rainier Christian Center, 43801 244th Ave SE, Enumclaw.
