Auburn shows spirit at July 4 celebration

The City of Auburn celebrated the Fourth of July the way it traditionally does – with a bang. There was good music, a parade, food and many activities.

The City of Auburn celebrated the Fourth of July the way it traditionally does – with a bang. There was good music, a parade, food and many activities.

Highlighting the festivities

was the annual kids’ bike parade. The noon parade was led by festively-decorated golf carts carrying Auburn Mayor Pete Lewis, councilmembers and other dignitaries from around the Auburn valley.

Free festival activities

include a children’s craft tent, bocce ball, laser tag, gaming stations, museum activities and much more.

More than 50 craft vendors offered an array of hand-crafted items, from jewelry and wooden toys to fine art.
