July 12, 1923 – May 8, 2017

Josephine was born and lived in Anacortes, WA until graduating with honors from Anacortes High School in 1941. She was married to Robert Jack Terrell, her best friend and love, on March 10, 1945. They lived and grew their family in Auburn, WA for most of their married life.

She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church where she volunteered in the rectory office, was in the liturgy committee, and oversaw the alter flowers for many years. She was a creative floral designer and had a shop in her home where she specialized in weddings. She was an avid Mariners fan and loved outings to the casinos to play a few slot machines.

She was preceded in death by parents Mary and Anton Barcott, sisters Mary Howard and Darlene Forret, and brother Francis Barcott.

She is survived by husband Robert Jack Terrell, children Robert F Terrell (Merribeth), Susan Berntson (Brent), Laurie Degnan (James), grandchildren Brian Berntson, Stacy Owens (Jason), James Degnan, Jay Degnan, Jennie Elliott (Jake), great grandchildren Samantha and Cooper Owens, sister Irene Zimmerman, and many nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be Monday, May 15, at 7:00 PM, Funeral Mass will be May 16, at 10:30 AM, and both held at Holy Family Catholic Church in Auburn, WA.
