Longtime Auburn resident Phyllis Irene (Spaight) Johnson passed away May 8, 2017. Born November 15, 1935 in Auburn, Washington, to Thomas and Gladys Spaight. She was raised on a farm, in the green valley. Graduated from Auburn High in 1953.
Married Earl Johnson in 1960. They resided in Auburn, where they raised their family. She worked at the Rainbow Café & the Auburn Golf Course Cafe. She enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, and cooking.
Survived by daughter Deborah (Johnson) Bodger, step-son Greg Johnson, sisters Alice (Spaight) Nucci and Carol Spaight, nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, & husband Earl Johnson.
