Auburn Mountainview grabs No. 4 seed into district tourney | Prep boys basketball

The Auburn Mountainview boys earned the No. 4 seed out of the South Puget Sound League/Seamount/Bremerton 3A tournament with a 44-40 win over Hazen on Thursday. The Lions (5-5 league, 13-9 overall) will begin play in the West Central District III/Southwest District tourney at 8 p.m. next Tuesday at Clover Park High School. Auburh Mountainview's Keith Green Jr. had a game-high 17 points giants Hazen (8-6, 10-11), with J.J. Lacey chipping in with nine points.
