Crews from the City of Auburn Traffic Division, the police department and Streets Division are working in the coming days and weeks to accommodate the extra activities, festivals and traffic.
The majority of the impacts will be seen on Auburn Way South, the Muckleshoot Casino area and the White River Amphitheatre. Officials want to inform area residents of the upcoming activities so you can plan accordingly for increased traffic and noise.
Construction locations:
• South 277th Street – Auburn Way North to L Street NE
• Auburn Way South – Muckleshoot Plaza to Dogwood Street SE (work will not occur on concert nights)
• Auburn Way North – 22nd Street NE to 45th Street NE (periodic night work)
• M Street SE – 3rd Street SE to East Main Street (full road closure from June 26-Sept. 1)
• B Street NW – 37th St. NW to South 277th (full weekend closures and partial weekday closures that limit traffic to one-way)
• Lake Tapps Parkway – East Valley Highway to Lakeland Hills Way (nighttime closures and detours)
• Local Street Reconstruction: 28th St. SE loop east of R Street SE, 27th St. SE, 26th St. SE, S St. SE, T St. SE and U St. SE, 19th St. SE and G St. SE near Olympic Middle School
• Local Street Overlay – 53rd Ave. S, South 302nd Place and associated cul de sacs in the West Hill area.
• 22nd Street NE and I Street NE Intersection (construction of new round-a-bout)

City officials encourage residents to expect traffic delays during this time, allow extra time when traveling and to exercise patience.
