Citizens who want to vote in the Aug. 1 primary election have until Monday, July 24 to register in person.
Eligible voters can register in person at King County Elections, 919 SW Grady Way, Renton, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or at the Voter Registration Annex, King County Administration Building, 500 4th Ave., Room 440, Seattle, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
King County Elections mailed primary election ballots to registered voters on July 12.
To be eligible to register to vote, you must be:
• A citizen of the United States
• A legal resident of Washington state
• At least 18 years old by election day
• Not under the authority of the Department of Corrections
• Not disqualified from voting due to a court order
