The No. 5 ranked Ravens improved to 6-0 in league play this past Tuesday with a 3-0 victory over the Falcons of Kentlake.
Auburn Riverside (6-0 SPSL North, 9-2 overall) had no problem fending off the Falcons (2-4, 3-9), winning with scores of 25-15, 25-19 and 25-16.
Brooke Bray led the Ravens with 25 kills and three blocks. Brooklyn Bradbury had 25 assists and four aces.
The Ravens travel to Kentridge (3-3, 8-3) at 7:15 p.m. tonight, Thursday and will wrap up their league schedule by hosting Auburn at 7:15 p.m., Oct. 26.
ALSO: Auburn (5-1, 7-3) continued to blaze their path to the postseason with a 3-1 victory over Tahoma (3-4, 4-7) at Auburn High School this past Tuesday. After losing the first game 25-20, the Trojans came back, posting scores of 25-23, 25-21 and 25-18 to win the match. Sierra Atkinson had 36 assists and 19 digs in the contest, with Isia Johnson adding 21 kills. Michelle Ernsdorff had 10 kills, 12 digs and seven aces and Dani Brunelle chipped in with 20 digs and three aces. Skyler Atkinson had seven kills. Auburn will host Jefferson (1-5, 5-5) at 7:15 p.m. tonight, Thursday and close out their regular season against district rival Auburn Riverside (6-0, 9-2) at 7:15 p.m., Oct. 26 at Auburn High School. … No. 8 ranked Auburn Mountainview (7-1, 13-1) suffered their first loss of the season against Bonney Lake (5-2, 9-4) 3-1 with scores of 25-22, 20-25, 23-25 and 16-25 Auburn Mountainview was led by Alexi Morton with 12 kills and four aces. Kelsey Fausko had eight kills and five blocks and Caitlin Carr had 19 digs. Sam Odren contributed 29 assists and Alex Odren had 17 digs. Bonney Lake was led Karly Edwards with 28 digs and Chelsea Merkel with 43 assists. The SPSL 3A league tourney begins Oct. 31 at Auburn Mountainview High School.
