An early Saturday morning fire extensively damaged a single-side mobile home at the Laurelwood Mobile Home Park, 3710 A St. SE, Auburn.

First-responding units from the Valley Regional Fire Authority found a fully involved mobile home fire around 9:27 a.m.

The single occupant, a woman, had escaped with her pets.

Fire crews knocked down the fire from the exterior, then entered the home and quickly extinguished the fire. The home was unoccupied.

Damage to the home is extensive. The homeowners will be staying with relatives.

There were no reported injuries to firefighters or civilians.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
